VLADIMIR GEORGIEVICH BEKHTEEV (1878-1971)
Painter, graphic artist. Studied at the Military School and the Cavalry School. From 1902 lived in Germany. Studied in Munich (1902-05) under G.Knirr and in Paris (1906) under F.Cormon. From 1914 lived and worked in Russia. Participant of exhibitions from 1905 ("The New Society of Artists", "Neue Kunstvereinigung Munchen", "The Jack of Diamonds", etc.). In 1920-21 - chief designer of the Moscow circus, from the 20s produced graphic illustrations and landscapes.
