TURZHANSKY LEONARD VIKTOROVICH (1875-1945)

Studied at Baron Stieglitz Central School for Technical Draftsmanship in St. Petersburg (from 1895), at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Achitecture (1898-1907) under A.S.Stepanov, K.A.Korovin, V.A.Serov. Member of the Society of Itinerant Art Exhibitions (1911-12), founder-member of the Union of Russian Artists (from 1910), the Society of Realist Artists. Participant of exhibitions of the Union of Russian Artists, the Society of Itinerant Art Exhibitions, the Association of Artists of Revolutionary Russia, the Society of Realist Artists, the International exhibition of 1911. His products are kept in the State Tretyakov Galler, the State Russian Museum and many other museums
