The central part of the work depicts a splendid feast in a rich Dutch house, where refined ladies and cavaliers are taking pleasure in earthly delights, and at the same time through the doorway you can see the servant sending away a beggar. On the right side there are three vertical border scenes depicting the posthumous life of a righteous man, on the left - the life of a trespasser. Below - a quotation from the Gospel according to St.Luke about the resurrection of Lazarus. Each border scene is accompanied by spiritual verses in the Dutch language.

The work reveals extremely high (even for the Golden Ages of the Dutch culture) quality of the picture and engraving, it is of great artistic, collection and material value.
