LEV IVANOVICH KILLE (1795-1851)
The appearance of the Russian army, winning the victory over Napoleon, is depicted in a series of colored by hand engravings by battle artist Kille, a major-general of the Russian army, published in 1826-20. All the engravings are signed. Lev Ivanovich Kille, a participant of the war of 1812, took part in creation of military uniform for the Russian army during the reign of Alexandre I.
