ALEXEI ILYICH KRAVCHENKO (1889-1940)
From 1904 to 1911 studied at the Moscow School of Painting,Scupture and Architecture under V.Serov, A.Vasnetsov, A.Archipov, K.Korovin, in Munich at Sz.Hollosy`s studio (1905). One of the leading masters of engraving. From the beginning of the 1910s produced paintings. Participant of exhibitions of "The Moscow Association of Artists", "The Union of Russian Artists", "The World of Art ". His works are housed in the Tretyakov Art Gallery, the Russian Musem, the State Musem of Literature, the Saratov Regional Art Museum and many other museums
