IGOR EMMANUILOVICH GRABAR (KHRABROV) (1871-1960)
Studied at the Higher Art School of the Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg (1894-1896) under P.P.Chistyakov, I.Ye.Repin, at Azbe`s studio in Munich (1896-1898). From 1898 -participant of many art exhibitions in Russia and abroad. Member of art associations "The World of Art" (1901-1903), the Union of Russian Artists (1904-1912), "The Moscow Painters" (1925) and others. Director of the State Tretyakov Gallery (1918-25). His works are housed in the State Tretyakov Galler, the State Russian Museum and many other museums.
