NIKOLAI NIKANOROVICH DUBOVSKOI (1859-1918)
In 1877-1871 studied at the Academy of Arts in St.Petersburg under M.K.Klodt. Participant of exhibitions from 1882 ("The Society for Promotion of Arts", "The Society of Itinerant Art Exhibitions"). From 1886 - member of the Society of Itinerant Art Exhibitions". From 1900 - active member of the Academy of Arts. From 1911 - head of the landscape workshop of the Academy of Arts. Landscapist, created about 400 pictures and more than 1000 studies. His works are housed in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Musem, the Gorky Art Museum, the Saratov Art Museum and other museums of the country.
