BUKOVETSKY YEVGENY OSIPOVICH (1866-1948)
Painter. Studied at the Odessa Drawing school (1887-90) under K.K.Kostandi, at the Academy of Arts in St.Petersburg (1890), then under P.Julien in Paris . Worked in Odessa. Participant of exhibitions of the Society of South-Russian artists, the Society of Itinerant Art Exhibitions from 1892. Taught at the Odessa art school (1937-45). The exhibitions of Bukovetsky's works - in 1935, 1941, 1950 and 1966 (Odessa). Products of the artist are kept in the Odessa Art Museum, the Lvov Museum of the Ukrainian Art, the Museum of Ukrainian Fine Arts in Kiev, in private collections.
