Irina Petrovna
(1916--?)
Painter. Studied at the IS (1939—49), was A.A. Osmerkin’s apprentice. Her graduation work was called “Metro”. Participated in exhibitions since 1950. Painted the following works: “Pushkin as a Pupil of Lyceum” (“Pushkin in Tsarskoye Selo”, 1949), “On the New Land” (1954, Kazakh Art Gallery), “At Midday” (1957), “In the Field Camp” (1958), “In the New Settlement on the Virgin Land” (1959), “Gymnastics” (1964), “The War” (1966), “Rich Bread” (1967); a number of portraits: “The Hero of the Socialist Labour Dashkov” (1953), “Katya” (1958), etc. The exhibition of hers called “Down the Roads of Vietnam” took place in 1970 (Moscow).
