KOROBOV
Alexandr Alexeevich
(1905—1977)

Painter. In 1925—30 studied at the Moscow Higher Art and Technical Workshops, department of Painting, Herasimov, Shevchenko and Osmerkin’s apprentice. Since 1929 – member of the Association of Artists of Revolution. Since 1932 – member of the Artists’ Society. In 1941—45 during the Great Patriotic War served as a soldier. In 1950—51 took part in the All-Union art exhibition. Personal exhibitions took place in Moscow (1956), Smolensk, Bryansk. In 1959—66 taught painting at the Moscow All-Russian Technical University.
